Good Day

So Jaxon had a sleep over with Jacky last night, Me and Jason came home and relaxed and watched movies. We slept in(which was great) and then we headed into Portland and met Grandma Coralie and Papa Ben at the Nike store with Katie, Jacky and Harley. All the babies got new shoes. They had fun picking out  whatever shoes they wanted. I love Jaxon's new shoes, I wish they made them in my size lol. We all had lunch at McDonalds and then ran some errands. By the time we made it to Target around 4pm Jaxon was tired (as you can see in the pic) He slept through the whole trip.. We finally made it home around 6 and I made lemon pepper breaded cutlets and fried potatoes for dinner. They were really good.. Now its almost time for bed, Got another week of early morning ahead of me.. 

CHILI

So I took Jason to a friends house today then started on my Chili. I made two huge pots. They are still sitting on the stove so they can cool down before I package them up to freeze. Gonna jump in the shower soon because we are headed to Stacy's house for a house warming party. First we are gonna drop Jaxon off at Grandma Coralie's so he can play with Jacky for a little bit. So far it has been a wonderful day.. Kind of sad that Jason is gone, but I guess I will get over it.

So today was a pretty good day.  Me and Jaxon relaxed all morning til we had to go get daddy. It was sunny and blue sky til I hit 84 around Lloyd Center, It started snowing lol  then by the time I was on I-5 it was sunny again.. Don't you love Oregon! I got Jaxon an awesome pair of green Converse shoes for 2 bucks (Yup that's right, a whole 2 dollars) Gotta love salvation army. Then we went to McDonald's and let Jaxon play for a while.. We came home and Jason made and amazing dinner of chicken n dumplings.. It was so good and totally hit the spot, I cant wait for left overs tomorrow.

So we got to sleep in today, it was really really nice, unfortunately one day doesn't cut it. Oh well back to 4:30am wake up tomorrow. We went and visited grandpa Jack today for his birthday. Jaxon got to go feed the ducks with him, which he absolutely loves. We stayed there for a little while then headed to The Rock Wood Fired Pizza for dinner. We got a spicy pizza with shrimp, chicken and sausage on it. It was soooo Yummy.. Jaxon got a burger and smiley fries (yes I said smiley fries) Gonna watch a little TV now and try to relax before bed.

So 4:30am came very early again this morning. Got Jason off to work, then me and Jaxon came home and went back to bed :) We got up around 10 and got dressed and met my dad for lunch at Busters BBQ. It was really good, I had a pulled pork po boy.. Then we headed over to my moms house to visit with her. We have not seen them in a while so it was nice. We decided to go to the mall, we walked around and looked at all sorts of stuff. We let Jaxon play at the Play Place until he started to get tired and cranky. Then it was not safe for the other kids to play with him(joking) We packed up and headed to Winco to get fixens for dinner. We went back to my moms house and she showed me how to make her homemade Chili.. It turned out really good. I cant wait to make it at home.  We had cornbread too which made it just that much better. I left there house and headed to pick up Jason. He informed me that he only has 1 day off (tomorrow) then he has to be back to work on Monday (Seriously, Come on.) I need those two days off as much as he does. Oh well I guess it just means bigger pay checks. Anyway its late and I really need to try and get some sleep tonight since last night I didnt get but maybe 1 hour :( Good Night Sweet Dreams..

Tired again

So its been another exhausting day.. Tomorrow is gonna be worse! Jason works 5:30am to 9:30pm, so it me and Jaxon ALL day tomorrow with nothing to do. I picked up Jason today, we got lunch. Then we went to the Fred Meyers Red Tag Store (Love this store btw, everything is clearance items then they take another 60 percent off) Then we went to Value Village.  Now we are home and ready for bed.. At 7pm yea bed time lol. We need to eat dinner first though and I gotta figure out what to pack for Jason tomorrow to eat. I wont be online tomorrow because Jason is taking the computer with him to work so he can at least watch movies. 16 hours is alot of time to do nothing considering all he has to do is make rounds every 2 hours then he just sits there.. Doesn't that sound like fun. I would be bored out of my mind.. Anyway I guess its time to get things done so we can go to bed.. Hope everyone had an amazing day.

So its 8:30 and I am totally feeling the effects from my early morning.. I would really like to just lay down and sleep right now but I have to finish doing Jason's laundry so he has a clean uniform to put on at 4am :) We had pork chops, fried potatoes and green beans at my dads for dinner.. They were really yummy as usual. Then we had brownies yummm.. So I guess I am just gonna sit here and relax until the laundry is done and I can get some sleep. So we both went back to bed, Jaxon woke up around 9 so we have just been relaxing and watching cartoons all morning. Jaxon had two containers of Trix yogurt for breakfast. He loves this yogurt, personally I think its gross, but its one of the only things I can get him to eat in the morning. He is starting to get his energy (uh oh) that means no more cartoons and mommy actually has to entertain him lol :) So I guess I better get off the computer and get ready to play.

Beep Beep Beep... That is my alarm going off this morning at 3:30 AM.. It was not a welcomed sound. We didn't actually fall asleep till after 11pm last night. So today is going to be a very tired day. Poor Jason having to sit in a building for 8 hours alone and he has to stay awake. . I hope he does ok with that :) So we are getting ready to leave at around 4am, I decide that its probably cold out so I am gonna start the car and get it all nice and warm.. I open the front door and OMG! Everything and I mean Everything is covered in Snow.. Are you serious? Are you kidding me? NO not this morning, any other morning fine, but not when its 4am and I have no idea where I am going.. So needless to say we HAVE to go even though there is Snow Everywhere :) We get Jaxon all bundled up and jump in the car. I pull onto 181st going about 10 miles an hour (Did I mention I hate driving in the snow) Luckily the closer we got to the freeway the more it became slush instead of snow. OK we are on our way, everything is going so smoothly how could something NOT go wrong. I take the wrong exit, it takes me over the Fremont bridge and into the industrial area (Great, Just wonderful right?) We finally get turned around and thanks to my dad who I had to call for help we find our way to where we need to be. But the fun part is next, ME (Directionally Challenged) having to find my way home, without Jason's help.. I can feel the dread in the pit of my stomach.. Thank goodness it was not nearly as hard as I imagined it would be. Now I am home, Jaxon is back in bed, I am on my there as well :) and just think, we get to do it all again tomorrow morning (oh wait! I still have to pick him up this afternoon) Lord have mercy on my soul..

Early Bedtime

 So its 7:30, I put Jaxon in his room for "Bedtime", Me and Jason are gonna eat something and go to bed as well. Jaxon is not liking the fact that its bedtime this early.. I don't know what else to do though, 3am comes really really early.. I hope I am not too exhausted to drive  or find my way home :( I am really not looking forward to this. .

So unfortunately Jaxon fell asleep on his own today.. Mean mommy and daddy had to wake him up because I need him to sleep tonight. We have to get up at 3 am to take daddy to work, Jaxon was not a  happy camper. This schedule is going to be very hard for all of us. Our whole life is going to be turned upside down. It is time for daddy to get his license so mommy and Jaxon don't have to get up with him. I don't know how I am gonna make it through this. I have a feeling we are all going to be very tired for a while..

So we decided to go out to lunch today, We went to "The Buckhorn" which is in the TA truck stop in Troutdale. Super good food, Jason had never been there and it has been quite a few years since I have been there. Jaxon had Spaghetti and Meatballs (which is his new favorite meal), Jason had the fried chicken meal and I had (my favorite) a Reuben and I had homemade clam chowder which was so yummy! Anyway on the way out they have a counter where they sell homemade chocolate truffles and fudge.  We got a few huckleberry, Marrionberry  and raspberry truffles (They were amazing) We also got two chocolate covered caramel and marshmallow bars. I have to say these were my favorite, even though they were super sweet. You cant finish a whole one at once. So therefore I have more for later :)

We spent the early afternoon playing at the McDonalds play place. I think this is one of Jaxon's favorite places. Mommy likes it too, its a free (or cheap) place for Jaxon to work off some energy. He likes playing with the other kids and mommy likes being able to just sit there and have a conversation with daddy :) He had a blast until we had to leave, thats the worst part but we got through it with just a mild melt down.

Bills

So I seriously need to go to PGE today so we still have electricity tomorrow. I wish they understood and had a little leeway for people. You can squeeze blood out of a turnip, ya know? Oh well I gotta do what I gotta do. Hopefully normal full paychecks will start soon and we wont have as much to worry about. After PGE we are gonna head over to my dads house, walk the dog and pick up some cupcakes he made for us.. I love him living close now because he always makes us all sorts of goodies.. Today its Chocolate cupcakes with a whipped peanut butter frosting, which I have to say is probably one of my favorite frosting's of all time.. He also makes a Hazelnut Chocolate Cheesecake that is to die for.. yum yum making myself hungry now :) I guess I should get on with my day and do this more later.. Hope everyone has a wonderful day .

Healthy Dinner

So Jason made pork chops for him and Jaxon for dinner. . I am trying to eat healthier so I made a green salad with a few pieces of chopped up chicken on it and a little cheese. It also had a touch of balsamic vinaigrette on it.  It was very yummy.. I guess eating healthy wont be that bad.  I love fruit and Veggies anyway so this should be easy :) Its being around the food that Jason eats, that's the hard part.

Raspberries

So me and Jaxon are sitting here in bed watching cartoons, We started snacking on some raspberries and we seriously just ate a whole 12oz container of them (Honestly he ate more than me).. They were really really good so I guess its not all bad :)

To top it all off he is asking for more, sometimes I think he has a never ending stomach. He, however is cursed.. or maybe blessed that he hardly gains any weight. I imagine he will grow sooner or later but hopefully his metabolism stays this way through his adult life. I wish I had his metabolism (wouldn't that be wonderful).. I have a feeling we all wish we could just eat whatever we want and not have to pay for it with weight gain :)

Sometimes Life is Frustrating

So really frustrated right now.. Didn't end up making it to the library today, I guess we will try again tomorrow. But Jason's job called him today, Instead of working close to home in Troutdale, which is why he  was hired in the first place. Now he will be working in Swan Island.. Which is way to far away, I don't have the gas for one. He also has to be there at 5:30am every day. So that means I have to get him and Jaxon up at 4am, wow doesn't that sound like fun. I am really not happy with this, but I guess a job is a job but seriously, this is gonna make like hell for a while.. I am gonna need all the strength I can get to make it through this schedule. 

Lunch

Yum! So Jason brought home Safeway Chinese Food for lunch and a corn-dog for Jaxon. I love Chinese food, doesn't matter where it comes from, however my favorite place is Wu's Garden On Cherry park.. The best food ever! So I guess I need to go eat before it gets cold, have a great lunch everyone.. Hope you enjoy yours as much as I am gonna enjoy mine :)

Library Trip (I think)

So today seems to be a very boring day. Jason and Jaxon decided to take a walk to the store, which leaves me, home, alone and in complete silence (this is a very rare occasion).. Unfortunately I know it wont last long. I wish I could just sit here all day and not to anything but that is not what my day has in store for me. I have to go pay some bills (that I cant afford I might add) and daddy told Jaxon we could go to the library today, and Jaxon never forgets so I guess we will be spending time at the library as well. As a child I loved going to and spending time at the library (I still do) However my child doesn't understand the whole "quiet" part of the library. It becomes somewhat embarrassing sometimes but I guess we are still working on it. I understand he is still young, but I guess its more my problem than anything else. I guess its time for me to get ready and eat something. I will let you all know how the library trip turns out.
